Given the great renown and achievements of the Dalai Lamas, the library is working to preserve their teachings. With the gracious consent of His Holiness the present Dalai Lama, the sacred teachings of every Dalai Lama, beginning with the first, Gedun Drup, are now being compiled and published. This long-term initiative of the library hopes to offer the benefit of the precious teachings of the Dalai Lamas to people all around the world.
