TIBETAN LANGUAGE CLASS - INTERMEDIATE


Starting from March 16, 2009
Time:
2pm - 3pm

The intermediate course, a stepping-stone to the advanced course, runs only if more than ten students request it in writing.

Textbook:

1. Lobsang Thonden’s Modern Tibetan Language Vol. I & II (LTWA Publication)
2. Reading material: rGyud med yid kyi me tog (a collection of short moral stories), authored by the late Geshe Lobsang Gyatso, principal of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, Dharamsala.

Teacher:

Venerable Ani Norzom holds an Acharya degree (Master's degree) in Tibetan Studies and Buddhist Philosophy from the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS), deemed University, Varanasi . She joined LTWA in 1999 and has been teaching the basic Tibetan language course for the past five years.
